Ohmega Testing Services are a company specialising in electrical equipment testing.
You see the stickers on the plugs in your place of work or companies/shops you visit?
Those stickers inform you that the appliance has been tested for compliance with
the latest electrical testing standards, and Ohmega may well have put them there!
Their requirement was to manage every aspect of their business, from holding details
about their engineers, through scheduling the jobs, invoicing the clients and paying
the engineers.
Streamline delivered a multi-user solution with the following functionality:
- Clients details maintenance and reporting
- Employee details maintenance and reporting
- Jobs maintenance - copy jobs, add job contacts, job reminders for recurring jobs
- Scheduling jobs, booking engineers to jobs
- Timesheets - entry, validation and reporting of all time spent by employees on specific
jobs
- Payroll - based on timesheets entered reference to the pay rates for all tasks associated
with the jobs worked on. Tasks can be flagged as attracting NI or not.
- Invoicing - based on standard job costs and timesheet data. Tasks can be flagged
as client chargeable or not.
- Reports - all information required to manage a job and produce financial reports
to ensure Ohmega are charging enough to their clients. Other standard reports such
as job summaries, timesheet reports, invoices, labels, job schedule etc.
- Job type master/chargeable rates - parameters that drive client invoicing, employee
payroll etc.
